The amount of money you can borrow in a margin loan will depend on how much you already have in your FlexInvest account.
You will be allowed to borrow on a 2:1 ratio. This ratio expresses the total amount of money you can invest with the original amount you want to invest. This means that FlexInvest can only match your initial investment amount.
For example, if you have $2,000 in your account, you are allowed to borrow $2,000, so then your total buying power is $4,000 (4,000:2,000 = 2:1).
The maximum monetary amount that one person can borrow from FlexInvest will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Investing in securities or other financial instruments always involves the potential of losing your money. FlexInvest recommends considering your investment objectives and risks before investing. For more information, please read our Risk Disclosures Statement and our Terms & Conditions.
